Re: Latest Site Update
I appreciate the history and development of this site as well as the limitations of early internet access (phone lines, ISDN, ADSL, etc.) - the first home PC in my childhood home ran Windows 3.1. !! Mind you, I've lurked ACD for years and years before finally getting around to signing up for an acco...

Re: Latest Site Update
the emailed reviews ARE in reverse date order Yes, that is indeed the case for the emailed reviews of each coffeeshop on their respective pages. However, here... https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/NewComments.html ...it's sorted by the name of the reviewer . It would be easier to see which email revi...

Re: Latest Site Update
For a very long time, I've been wondering why (and annoyed by the fact that) the emailed reviews on the front page aren't sorted by received date. As it is, you have to go through every emailed review in order to find the new ones.
Best.
Best.

Re: Returning from extended AFK
Hey everyone its been a while. Im looking into doing a solo trip beginning of next year. Apartments are damn expensive! You all know that. Would be interested in splitting one with another solo traveler, is there a forum to make such connections here? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you sh...

Re: Malta legalising very soon, associations with anonymous members lists
Now the news has reach the British shores, and The Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/dec/13/malta-to-be-first-in-europe-to-legalise-cannabis-for-personal-use Excerpt: Possession of up to 28 grams will lead to a fine of €50-€100 but with no criminal record. Those under the age of 18 ...

New German government legalising cannabis
You've probably already heard it on the news, but the new German government coalition has agreed on legalising cannabis for personal consumption in licensed shops. The coalition parties have apparently agreed on a four year trial period after which the policy and it's outcomes will be evaluated. See...

Re: Hello there.
Thank you! Yes, Maastricht was a very nice place to visit on a day trip back in the day (at the time I regularly found myself within driving distance of the city), although some CS' were overrun by tourists from France and Belgium (myself included, sort of). I found Maxcy's by walking around the str...

Re: Maxcy's Maastricht
Visited Maxcy's a couple of times with friends in the second half of the 00's, before the introduction of the Wietpas. Nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The first visit was very relaxed (and exciting). Later, along the introduction of a doorman checking IDs, the atmosphere seemed less so. Bough...
