Re: What's everyone listerning to
So far today
Moody Blues- To Our Children's Children's Children
Rolling Stones- Beggar's Banquet
My Morning Jacket- It Still Moves
Apathy- Honkey Kong
Deer Tick- War Elephant
Hmm maybe I'll throw on some Dinosaur Jr. Their early 90s stuff is great too.

Re: Basjoe
That was one of the 3 strains I smoked in my first, brief trip this past January. Amazing stuff. I remember it being spicy and potent.

I've been to Amsterdam once and visited 3 shops (Green Place, Basjoe, Barney's Lounge). Not all votes are created equal I suppose.

Re: Blue Cheese
Tried it from Barneys in early January. I thought it was primo stuff. Had the blueberry smell, cheese taste, and was a nice relaxing indica.

Caps are coming on like a freight train. Think this is the year they finally win the Cup? Boudreau will be feeling the heat if they don't.

Alice in Chains. Definitely underrated, especially their Unplugged performance.

Sweet Skunk. I can't believe it's been almost a month since I was in Amsterdam. Still need to get around to writing a trip report.

Grunge is Dead (book)
I'm on a cruise headed up the Rhine River to Amsterdam, and I've been reading this book about the evolution of the Seattle music scene. Anyone who enjoys Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, etc needs to check this book out. It's a bunch of snippets pieced together from interviews with a variety...
