Why did you repost MikeD's "I'm no genius" quote twice? He only said it once. This seems an immature attempt to make someone look stupid who merely asked a question. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though, I'm sure you did it on accident. You're not a meanie.Ash333 wrote:MikeD. wrote:I'm guessing that they use gasoline to extranct the trichomes and then allow it to evaporate leaving you with the gooey hash pictured above. I'm no genius but this doesn't sound at all safe even if they aren't rushing this process. Someone help?Gas is not gasoline, but much more likely butane or possible even carbon dioxide. read up on how products like this are made, there are numerous usable solvents....MikeD. wrote:I'm no genius

No worries. I asked a question and got an answer. I knew that LOLs and snide remarks were wure to follow when I asked. Only those who presume to know everything, make fools of themselves. Let's not turn this thread into anything other than a critique of Basjoes and their gear. Thanks again USBL for clearing it up.

It happens sometimes with forums for any number of reasons(if you clicked submit twice by accident, if your internet connection burped, etc.), 99.99% of said reasons are all accidental.Ash333 wrote:oops my bad. I wasnt trying to do that bit twice, not sure why it showed like that....
Did you think you'd get rid of me that easily?

Thank you. I'm sorry if I caused any offence, none was intended, I was just trying to share some info.SGawain235 wrote:It happens sometimes with forums for any number of reasons(if you clicked submit twice by accident, if your internet connection burped, etc.), 99.99% of said reasons are all accidental.Ash333 wrote:oops my bad. it is butane and if youve ever watched butane evaporate you can see it takes very little time...theres an important boil off at the end of the process that can make or break the oil....some of us do it ten times, others only do it once...big difference...enjoy and yer welcome...and btw basjoe generally has a decent product...theres always that one time ya know

yep... i got a gram of it again on monday, no gas, pretty nice. now i think last time it was no gas in there, too, it maybe just has been in the freezer for a longer time or something and the suspicious popping when burnt was maybe just normal because of the moisture in it... i dont know
for my taste the quality of the terminator just varies far too much, like i wrote in an earlier post, the T i got first time i was there was not comparable to the other samples ive bought. it was out of this world.
USBL: when will you be at basjoes next time? id like to talk to you about some "concentrate issues"...

I really like the atmosphere of this coffeeshop with the big window on the canal and friendly budtenders...
Always appreciate a chess game here...
The Royal Hash (Indian) was nothing special... weak smell and mellow high (or stone, i don't remember)... i brought back the end of it at home and will try it in better conditions (i was already high and a bit tired)...

No Terminator, no Icolator, no Baspecial.
Awsome Cheese, awsome Jack Herrer, awsome Royal hash and bloody good AK47.
I stopped in everyday I was there. James was working every time. Took up residence in the second booth from the window on all three occasions and very much enjoyed the people watching. On one occasion, I saw some dude take one hell of a tumble on his bike.
I'll be back.
