7 Sep 05 Day one. Seven Second.

Arrived Schipol 08:15. Took a train into Centraal Station and walked over to Pink Floyd Umma Gumma by 09:30. Bought 3g of Seven Second and rolled my first good weed in 2 months. Found out why they call it Seven Second. I have read in this forum about having a "whitey", but had never experienced one. Now I can honestly say, I have. By 09:45 this weed had me pale faced and sweating, all off of four or five tokes. Fortunately, I was seated when this happened, which allowed me to just sit there and stare contentedly off into space for a few minutes. Took a while to calm down from one of the most intense head rushes I have felt in a long time, just in time for breakfast to arrive. The breakfast was excellent, especially since it was considerably different from the braekfast I usually have, and eating helped clear enough of the cobwebs from my brain to enable me to function. All in all, my first eperience at a Dutch coffeeshop was everything I had come to expect, courteous people, top notch smoke and a relaxing atmosphere. Feeling straight enough by 10:30, I staggered out in search of the apartment I was renting. I continued my convalescence there with a short nap. Now refreshed, it is time to go in search of what I came to A*dam for, the hash. Probably should have tried some at Floyd, just didn't think about it. More coming later on that.

Glad to hear you made it past your first 'whitey' congrats!

That 7 Seconds is a quality weed, good choice you made there!

Thanks Boner. The sentiments are appreciated. This was one of the few times I can say I was so stoned that it scared a few years off my life. Fortunately, I have recovered enough to walk around to appreciate this beatiful city, and find some other places on my list of must sees. First was a stop at Number One head shop for a pipe, then I found the Grey Area, it happens to be close to where I'm staying, where I purchased some Temple Ball hash. Smoked on its own it is very satisfying with a mellow buzz. The end of the bowl gets a little harsh, but that is the way I always remembered hash being. I will soon try a combination of the Seven Second and the hash. So far it has been an auspicious start to what should be a great week.

sounds great. get yourself down to the bushdocter and treat yourself to a gram of their most expensive jelly hash, (oil mixed with bubble hash),thats a smoke you'll never bloody forget. keep up the reports man. nice one.

Thanks for the heads up Chigusa. Went down near there this evening to check out a bar called Coco's Outback. If I had known Bushdoctor was that close I'd have stopped there, too. Guess I'll have to go back that way while I'm here. Gotta try new experiences!!!!
