Called in a few times during December visit. Nice relaxed atmosphere, lots of chess being played. Lovely canal view at night when snowing. Cannot remember what strain bought but enjoyed coffee and smoke. Low background music and conversation made times enjoyable. Will call again.

This place will always have a special place in my heart as it was the first coffeeshop I visited on my very first trip 10 years ago.
Friendly budtender as usual and great buds and hash.
The Fantasia smells really like Amnesia with a twist.
Recommended.

Looked at the N.Y.C diesel and wasnt impressed so declined. No real punch on the nose from the tub. Enjoyed the coffee and the shop itself though. chilled out played cards and was able to happily relax in here for a good couple of hours. will return.

I really like Siberie and this is usually my first stop when i get to the Dam.I like their attitude,i like how they don't try to rip you off,i like their canal spot,i like the huge tables,i like their weed and i even like one or two of the picasso rip off pictures they have about the place.

The weed we tried was very good without reaching the dizzy heights of amnesia or club media. They have a large area near the bar with vaporisers built into the tables and this bit is not for smoking so the place is pretty airy by cs standards.

P.s Who buys that Jamaican shit at €3 a g?

Popped in here again the other day. Caligum was fairly mellow but nice-tasting, Cheese and SSH Black Pearl both strong and excellent value for money.
Decided to buy and fly from the other shops on my visit, but stopped here for a smoke. I also never feel pressured to leave or buy more drinks/smoke too quickly or aggressively, as in many other Amsterdam shops.

Ahh Siberie, The first coffeeshop I ever visited; I can remember it like yesterday the three lads rock up in Amsterdam get to the closest coffeeshop and all roll a fattie, then regret smoking so much at the same time. Thank god that we mature as we get older.

So I really wanted to revisit my maiden coffeeshop when I was last in Amsterdam, I had visited every other time I have been so why change the habit of a life time. As I had met three other people in Amsterdam and we all had ideas of what we would like to do and where we would like to smoke we never got round to popping in. Lucky for me I had an extra day tagged on to the end of the trip when I was alone. I decided that it would be a nice place for my last smoke (it turned out that I could squase another one in, but that's a story for another day), so off I headed across Centrum.

I arrived and there were just a couple of people in the smoking room happily looking at their photos on a camera while smoking a stonker. There were two nice young girls working the bar, one served me a drink while I consulted with the other on which product I should buy. They had two Indian hashes on offer amongst the other usual suspects, I asked for the most expensive one, it was heading towards the 15 euro direction but what the hell it's my last smoke in Amsterdam. I was then pleasantly surprised when the girl told me to buy the usual cheaper charras as the difference in quality was not worth the extra money. So ok I trusted her and took the smoke through to the front table and sat overlooking the canal.

Like I said it was fairly empty when I arrived but through the course of me smoking my first spliff it quickly filled up. There were three French lads who came and sat at the table next to me, by this time I was rolling up what was left of my gram, which seemed to be amazing to one of these guys, he sat open mothed looking at he whole process, maybe he was just stoned! They coughed and spluttered through the whole time they were there, a day or two in Holland can do that to the best of smokers I guess.

The hash was nice, very playable and seemed pretty pure. It was a decent smoke considering the price 7-8 euro if my memory serves me right. I would happily buy this hash at a higher price if it were on sale with my supplier this side of the north sea! I know there is better hash for sale in The city but this did me nicely.

As I had saved myself a few euros on the product thanks to the girl Budtender and was about to go on a long journey I reinvested the money I saved on two of their cheese tosties, at two euro each surely this is one of the best coffeshop snacks in the city!!! So they got the extra money in the end and I left extra happy, leaving a tip for the girls, they deserved it. 'remember it's sexy to tip' ha ha

So another good time was had in Siberië, I do like this shop and will be visiting again soon. It will be good as I have a non smoker in the group this time so he can sit in the back room and chat up the girls while we go up up and away in the smokers room. 4/5

What do you mean? The first bit you enter is the smoking room, and I don't know whether it qualifies as silly, but it's hardly little by coffeeshop standards. The other section, which is smaller, is where the bar and computer and vaporisers are. It's a bit misleading to call it the non-smoking section, as I've always sat in here and smoked pure hash/weed mix in a pipe.

Then perhaps the place has changed since I last went there a good 3 years or more ago?. As I recall going in the door and there is or was a small smoking room to the right as you enter the place for which was intended for smoking tobacco in. I recall there only being 1 table (possably 2 small tables put together) that small room also has a chess board on or something. The rest ofthe coffeeshop is quite large with several tables with the bar\counter towards the back on the right side.

Perhaps they made the smoking room bigger since i last went.

That seems to ring a bell. I was there in 2008, just after the smoking ban had started, but not again till 2011. Unless my notorious lack of observational skills is playing up again, there's now just the initial large area where you can mix tobacco in your joint, but as I said, I was in the back with my pipe, so I wouldn't want to swear to it.
