that is my friend's point of view but i do not consider rude that behaviour from the shop, i simply said that i do not agree with such a policy. i also wrote that previous day i didn't have any problem when i went with you and met Big Bang Bones and had a overall good impression about the shop, considering my purchases, the location and the staff. didn't want to build up such a debate on it, anly wanted to share my experience in the shop which i rate positive

I do not know what a shop has to do to remain on the market so i don't say them trying to steal my money or this kind of things, they know their things. but if someone spent 70 euro in your shop and 3 are going to buy a drink i think we were not part of the situation your are considering with no one buying anything. I think if you introduce a policy an important thing is not making a blind one but you have to consider the situation. on the other hand i'm also considering that if an employee is working he cannot decide what to do but he has to obey to the rules he has been given. hey Uncle, maybe it's difficult to do, but do not think you are the only one that thinks in this world, sometimes someone else do it

I agree that no pressure should be put on customers to buy a beverage.
There's more to the policy than meets the eye. As I've stated, to better understand why, talk to the various staff.
Millions of people visit coffee shops annually; it doesn't take long for the numbers of unpleasant moments to add up.
There is a method to the madness, the problem is that it's not always very palatable.

Was the second time for me at 1e Hulp. First time to check the smoking room... which has one of the best seating areas I've seen so far. Even if the menu was bad (not the case), it would be worth hanging out on one of the Maroccan sofas. Music was pretty bad though, seems like they want you to use the juke box... I bought some Snow White (8€) which is not bad but also not that good. It looks like one of the random, nameless Indicas that I used to get back home. After I finished my joint and hot Chocomel, I went back down to get some Sativa. Asked to see the Angel Dust (10€). The smell was intense and reminded me of old school NYCD. Bought a gram went to get some dinner... Now as I type this I'm smoking a tester. The smell transfers great into a fruity taste. Trying to figure out whether it's Diesel or not. The effect so far is pretty uplifting yet strong, so I can't complain.
p.s. forgot to mention the white cat and it's unique, cow-like, brown patterned fur.

UR- I think you are right that while it is hard to understand the buy-a-drink policy from the perspective of an individual consumer, from the perspective of a busy coffee shop it makes sense. Also, it is not always the case at 1 e Hulp that you must buy a drink, in my exerience.
I have to say the idea of a crawl designed to spark conflict doesn' t agree with me at all. Seems very un chill.

Tried the angeldust there last week. Very nice smoke. Cheesy and happy. Might go back for more again as I liked the shop and the general area of the neighborhood. They have a vape you can use at the front of the shop or a darker more comfortable area up a few stairs and a pool area down a few stairs.
Classic Dutch functional split level living area used very inteligently in this charming coffeeshop. They also have a cat!
