Re: Grey Area
Silver Bubble got the strong impact which pure Sativas mostly fail to deliver. Great smoke, got me walking all the way to the Vondel park where I rolled up some Congo Haze... Gotta do more walks there at dawn. Lot's of joggers and fietsers were around. I was a lone walking stoner, like training for the (special) olympics with a coke in one hand and a spliff in the other... good times

Re: Grey Area
Do they still sell unpressed hash / trichomes there? I see that "Grey Mist" is no longer on the menu! They still have 3 types of hash >20€, with 2 of them marked as Ice-O-Lators ... but that's only the extraction method and doesn't say whether it's pressed or not.
It made such a great birthday present for a cannabis-connaisseur friend of mine since it's hard to come by outside of A'dam. And I already promised him some for his upcoming birthday
Any other recommendations for this type of product?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Grey Area
Visited here several times on this latest trip, always worth the wait at this place and the great service and reliable quality of their weed make it worth the little extra you sometimes pay. John and Stefan are both quality dudes who take their time with you.
Bought on this trip
Silver Bubble - NIce frosty buds my go to sativa in the dam 9/10
Casey Jones - got this at the end of the trip and even though my tolerance was sky high by this point this one kicked my ass 10/10
Grey Crystals - silver bubble trichomes, these were more amber colored and more sticky then on previous visits. Super up effect bought two times 10/10
Silver Bubble unpressed isolator - went for this one on recommendation of Stefan, not much flavor but super super high 9/10
Kandy Kush - very smooth indica effect but not knockout strong 8/10

Re: Grey Area
Grey Area is definitely one of my favorite coffee shops. Not because of the service. It's not BAD, but when i went there in Feb i asked for some weed and a coffee, the coffee hadn't brewed so he said just give me 5 mins. Which is fine, so i started to roll while i wait, he saw me putting some tobacco in my joint and was quick to say outside (it is worth noting that when i went back there in March, they DID allow tobacco to be smoked inside) which was fine. But he obviously forgot that i was waitying for my coffee after 5 minutes
. but i suppose we've all been there when we're stoned
. I have to say that Greys Crystals are definitely my favorite hash of all time! i just love that flavour! every time i go there i just HAVE to get a least one gram. I will definitely be going back to this place when i go over again in 4 weeks
As i'm sure you all know Grey Area is not a big coffee shop, but the atmosphere and the weed definitely make me want to go there every time i'm in the dam.
You should definitly go there at 16.20, just to have a toke on their 100g 420 joint
Weed: 5/5
Atmosphere: 5/5
Service: 4.5/5 (just because i know we all make mistakes when we're stoned
)

Re: Grey Area
I was several time during it is last year and I was never disappointed on the quality of weeds in this place.
My larger discovery over there, it there has several years, was the chocolope.
Always warm welcome but there is never enough place to remain to smoke.
I turn over each time in this place.
This weekend, I intend to take chocolopê and the silverbubbel.
What think about it?

Re: Grey Area
grabbed a gram of greyberry and Casey jones. The greyberry was a ok daytime smoke but the weakest buy i smoked this trip. the Casey Jones on the other hand was very nice and as a nightcap knocked me on my arse. so mixed feelings at present. will always visit in future. just seems a bit russian roulette on the menu for me. was dissapointed with the t light in march also but then again the kandy kush was lush.

Re: Grey Area
Only stopped here for a buy-and-fly as it was near closing time, I opted for the Grey Haze which to me reminded me of Mellow Yellows S5 Haze in terms of smell and appearance which is a very good thing indeed. The buds shimmer upon close inspection and is a potent smoke at a good price of €11.50 p/g
