Re: Grey Area
GA was the same old GA...exodus cheese was super cheesey, but the consensus is its not the same old cheese. Grey crystal much better than in the past, but one smoker we met during cup said it had lots of plant matter under the microscope. Will go back for exo cheese in future, love it.

Re: Grey Area
This strain has got it going on!
Aesthetically pleasing - light green nugs, covered in delicious frosty crystals.
An awesome stench - BT commented how he had a little bag of it in his pocket and his next door neighbor thought he had a grow going on inside his home (now there's a compliment!)
Ever smooth, Ever tasty, Ever grey.
(ooops accidentally posted as a new topic!)

Re: Grey Area
The most vivid memory I have of Grey Area is all the guys in line at the entrance to reach the bud tender!
Our plan was to visit this coffeeshop before any other, on Thursday 13th, before make hotel check-in... Instead we were there only Saturday: maybe the worst day to have a visit from this place! Consider Grey Area opens at 12.00, we arrive there at 12.30 and we did nearly an hour in line!
Before Grey Area, we had already seen many others coffeeshops in Dam, but none of them have found the same situation: some coffeeshops were crowded, others a bit less, but no any kind of row was there in front of them! That moring at Grey Area even a few tables had been removed to make space for people in line!
There was some guys struggling with a vaporizer and others sitting at the one table I saw. The rest was all standing people, kids especially, several with much money cash in hand, ready for the best deal!
Finally comes our turn, the time was about 13.30 and off course bud tender was already satisfied and smiling!
I dont remember his name but he was very friendly and accomodating! The room was full, but no problem was show us all his collection!
I believe all the menu-entryes were very interesting and also the quality of the weed seemed to be at the top... mmm... very nice... but we wanted immeditalety to focus on the house specialty:
1) GREY CRYSTAL
2) EVER GREY
3) GRAY HAZE
He also showed me AK47 ice-o-lator, both pressed (€20,00/g) and unpressed (€ 30,00/g), Casey Jones, Exodus and Bubble... Real, I'd buy everything if I dint' flight the next day!
Only negative is the location. It seemed to me a sort of "takeaway" coffeshop... It would have been nice to chill at Grey Area and try vapor and other stuff!... very rare I think!

Re: Grey Area
They should try and buy the place next door and knock a wall through to make a decent sized place with a cafe. Had the Grey Crystals on my last visit. They have been around and popular for a while b4 the cup!
Getting a table at Grey Area is like winning the lottery the place is so small and popular. Once got the window table..... 15mins b4 closing!

Re: Grey Area
I love the weed in Grey Area, and Jon and Adam are great guys. But the wait time there is getting ridiculous. Sometimes an hour - usually at least 30 minutes.
It's not helped by idiots (normally Italian) who have 10 people in their group and the debate that goes on as to what they're going to buy. Jeez
Just let one person go in to buy all you need and remember some people behind you know exactly what they want and can be in and out in a fraction of the time of these large groups.
Ideally Grey Area could expand!! It would be great if they did as they'd presumably get another staff member or two. I'd love to get some chance to chat to Jon/Adam over a cold drink but they're always too busy!
