Re: Homegrown Fantasy
My first smoke in the Dam was at Homegrown Fantasy and ill never forget it. As soon as we checked into our room, me and my friend went right there since our hotel was next store. The bud tender was real cool and asked if this was our first time in the Dam. I said it was and it was my boys 2nd time. I got 2grams of Cheese and rolled it up in a blunt. The budtender says "is that all pure" i say "yes" and he says "you guys are F#cking crazy" and just shook his head laughing. Neither one of us slept on the plane and both with all the lay overs were working on over 24hrs without sleep. I was so high i thought if i get any higher im going to the start tripping balls and i was pumped up from sativa high i guess or adrenaline. Not the same for my boy, he was turning white and looked like strung crack head. I say to him "you ready for the next place" and he says "chill out, chill the out f out dude". Got worried cause my friend is like 250lbs and im like 170lbs and never him this whiteyd up. Was afraid i was going to have to drag his ass out of there but He gathered himself and convince me that i needed to sleep.
Cool place to go and the bud tenders were mad chill. Ill b there soon and cant wait to hit this place up
GYEAH

Hey
Is this 'Cheese X' actually the same as UK Cheese (Exodus cut)
..or is it a Cheese-hybrid named 'Cheese X'?
Does anyone know?

Say it isn't so! First shop I visited back in 1998 on my initial A'dam visit; first shop where I vaped in 2005; first shop where I had to help a friend who was in the grip of a serious "whitey" in 2007! Enjoyed my visits in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 as well. Always a friendly place with an easy menu shot for "Fly!"matty223 wrote:buy while you can this shop is slated to be closed 2014

Shop where the goods range from solid to spectacular! Shop where the hot chocolate is excellent and the cappuccino is every bit as good! I remember when Nel was there, not to mention the friendly Irish lass. I don't want 2013 to be my last visit. Where will I go in 2014? Perhaps, Colorado!

Re: Homegrown Fantasy
Tis saddening if HGF does close, I also have many fond memories of this shop. Gear is usually pretty awesome, a few misses but everybody does. Drinks and cakes also tasty tasty.
The toilet is a trip, someone had wrecked the john like a rented corvette before I went in, quite disgusting, felt so alien with the lights, I imagined it to be something like solitary prison in Mexico. . . . But everybody poops so big ups to that porcelain painter, could have been his mona lisa
One of the best budtenders I have encounterd and truly a quality human being as well. I dont care what shop he is in I would go.

I remember the next trip going back and seeing Nel at another shop, and now another.notsofasteddie wrote: I remember when Nel was there,

yeah, already seen it, it's a shame they want to close all those shops, but i think the last word
in this situation isnt spoken yet.
so I have to get my Homegrown Fantasys going on to the max when I'm there in April, since I'll maybe the last time
to visit this wonderful and unique shop...
roll that shit, like that shit, smoke it!
