Utrecht Coffeeshops
Had to make a detour down to Utrecht yesterday. Checked out t'grasje and hi/lo
Hi/Lo: nice interior door and ambience; however when I arrived and asked to look at some of nugs, the bud tender held them almost entirely behind the window slot not allowing me to properly smell or assess the product- Dutch Dragon, which at 10 a gram and smelling like any other commercial grade nederwiet (think 1e Hulp's White Widow) did not merit the pricetag. Nonetheless, I was itching for a smoke and didn't feel like dealing with the bud tender being a typische nederlander lul about giving custom service. So I ordered a gram and headed to the back to skin up, but not before being told that I would have to leave my bag at reception, really?! Then as I was skinning up, I call the old lady on my smartphone, before the 'security' informed me that phonecalls inside were 'verboden'. Are you shitting me?!
Ok, well I just about had enough, and was on my way out, however the stairwells piqued my interest to see what was downstairs. There was some really cool leather couch, mat setups (think those comfy Amsterdam hookah lounges), alas I got comfy and stretched out on the sofa not even 5 minutes before I heard the clatter of angry footstep and that lul budtender informed me that the downstairs was closed. Seriously this place and the fucking rules!
So I finally said fuck it, but not before spitefully using the wifi to make a whatsapp call outside their door. I had just hungup when the security guy rolled up, I was jist about to tell him to fuck off, when he asked me in a very sincere tone to do it elsewhere because of problems with the neighbors. He appealed to my rational forgiving side, so I let it be.
