Just thought I would share some photos of the plants my dad is growing back in the UK, unfortunately due to lack of funds (and the urgent need to re-new my passport) it is looking unlikely that I can make the 4:20 meet in Amsterdam again.....although i'm holding hope of a tax rebate before then but not expecting anything as to avoid possible disappointment.
So if i can't make it I will be sure to go back to England in may to try out this first attempt of home grown.......the seeds were called 'Barney's Farm Blue Cheese' which is apparently a Big Buddha Cheese X Blueberry so it sounds nice and looking good so far (apparently smells even better I'm just hoping the final taste and high matches!!
When I spoke to my dad on the phone this weekend he said he had just started the 12 hours light on-12 hours light off stage.....and an email today said that they are showing good signs of the buds forming. I don't know much about growing the plants to be honest (only what I read on forums and websites) but I have my fingers crossed they are gonna be producing some good smoke.

Just tin foil inside a wardrobe.....they are dwarf plants so wont get any higher as we were worried the lighting system would burn the tops of the plants if they were too tall.

Gotcha, I was concerned about crowding. Probably no worries. As long as the inner leaves get light, should be cool.

There are 5 plants in there all together....we both think that is too many for the space provided so next time will limit it to just 3 or 4 maybe (depending on how much weight we get off the current plants)

Tin Foil is one of the worst reflective substances you can use as well as it causes hot spots, you'd be better off just painting the inside white.
I think we just called them dwarf plants as they grow short and stocky....i'm not even sure if there is such a type of plant as a dwarf plant, more of a method of growing them.
There is a fan system which is helping controlling the heat so hopefully doesn't cause too many hot spots, although I can't say much about it as haven't even seem them for real having lived in Dublin for the past 3 months. Everything done was recommended from various different sites, but it is a first attempt so I guess it's a learning process all around!

I could only hope that ours would turn out like that but I wouldn't think so being a first attempt at growing at all, but like I said it's a learning process and I have sent the link on to my old man so he can get some tips for the next batch. We are still hopeful of a pretty good smoke from the current grow, I will update some more pics when I get some myself.
I'm just hoping the final taste and high matches!!
