Is there a sure fire way to tell what you are getting? The genetics are very important to me. I need to make sure it is what it claims to be. I'm trying to separate the ones that help to the ones that don't help much, there are a few that don't help. I'd like to start documenting this. Any info would be great!!!!

Thats a tough one Camaro. A lot of shops will use names from popular strains and claim they are what they are not. I guess you just ask to ask a lot of questions and if the budtender doesn't know, move on to another shop.

Go to the seed banks in amsterdam, and ask them where their stuff gets sold.

For instance, I asked Dutch Passion seeds where to get their bona fide Blueberry, and they said Noon coffeeshop.

Some of the Sensi seeds stuff is sold at Dampkring.

Some THSeeds stuff is Dampkring.

DNA Genetics would be Grey Area.

Serious Seeds would be Rusland.

Greenhouse is easy -- they're both seeds and shop.

Barney seeds would be Barneys.

And so on, and so forth.

If its important to you, first thing you do when you get to Amsterdam is go to the seed banks and ask these questions. My list is not up to date.

If there are strains that you would like to try, but aren't bred by any of the seed banks, I would stick with only the most reputable shops: Dampkring, Grey Area, Amnesia, Barneys, Greenhouse, Bluebird, Dolphins, Rusland. These are the shops that I know are reputable; there may be others as well. But the caveat is this: even with these shops there's no certainty, only a likelihood.

Thanks for all your help! I don't think amsterdam is in my budget I can barley affofd the seeds. Most of my seeds will be purchased the old fashoned way, I know bummer. When your on disability it makes it tough, and that is only part of it!

OK, so by your second post, I take it you're not asking about assurances that weed sold in coffeeshops is legitimately what the sellers claim, but that the seeds sold in seed banks are legitimately what they claim.

I've never had a problem at the reputable seed banks getting exactly what I ordered. I did, however, have a problem with a specific brand of seeds once, White Label, which did not germinate. I bought them at Sensi. Months later, when I asked someone at Flying Dutchman about their experiences with the quality of White Label-brand seeds (because they also sold them), the worker there quickly disavowed any knowledge about their quality, refused to talk about them at all, really. It was a clear signal steering me away.

Other than that, I've bought seeds from Sensi, DNA, Flying Dutchman, Paradise and Barney's, and have had no problems with authenticity.

I think White Label are F2 and not so stable.

Possible, although generations and germination rates aren't very closely interrelated, if at all. Virtually everything I touch is an F2, propagated from purchased F1s, but even the periodic phenotype sprouts. The White Labels went 0-for-16. I've never experienced anything like it.

I've popped 85-90 percent germination for decades, sometimes with seeds so many years removed from original parents that I've eventually had to throw away entire strains.

White Label just sold me some bunk-ass seeds!

Being where I am in life it's had to send money to anyone for anything. Then having to wait! I thank you all for your input!! Waiting is part of the process. I did get some good info, but it took me awhile to obtain it. I just got done ordering all females 3 different types. They should be here any day, I hope! I am not pleading poverty just damn close and can not afford to be let down!

White widow, femanized. Blueberry Skunk, femanized. White Diese also femanized. I'm hoping this helps its still at least 3 mo. till I know anything!
