Yeah man, your are right...

It is one of the worst cs...in all aspects....bad service and bad weed...
BUT it is still a coffeeshop...
I would be happy to have one here...

its a shame we lose good coffeeshops and yet crap-holes like this place survive...question is how?....are there really that many wealthy idiots about that are willing to pay their prices and accept such shit service?...never again will i go in there....hopefully it'll never re-open

La Canna certainly isn’t the best in Amsterdam but I'd love to have it in my local town.

I refuse to vote as I've not set foot in the place in about 5 years. So not really qualified to vote, just able to have an opinion on what I recall and have been told and read.

La Canna sure does have the potential to be a fine place due to the size of the interior alone, something for which I loved on my 1 and only ever trip to this place. But certainly not a reputation thats repairable under the current name, and probable ownership.

You cant ever say it has no chance as there are a number of all time greats on the top coffeeshopa list that are quickly going down hill these days!.

La Canna has closed

This dump of a tourist trap has closed and it doesn't look like it's going to re-open. If it did it would have to have better staff, better decor, better weed, better value and... well it'd just have to be nothing like it was.

There has been no remodeling going on for months at La Canna so I guess it will no longer be a coffeeshop.

Prehaps they might become a smoker friendly bar instead?. I do feel it's possably the only option for this place after having had such a bad reputation for so many years?.

Then again I'll certainly loose no sleep if it never re-opens at any point!.

ITS GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thank god!!!!

It had to be the worst place in the whole of dam, i can say this as i have experienced all that the piss poor place had to offer, on one of our trips we ended up having to stay in there accomodation, 1 out of 10, semi clean room! Very rude greeter, was told no noise,no smoking???? the bloodly place is a coffeeshop!!!! the worst bud in town, well over priced. the whole place was expensive and the staff were very rude, be it budtender, bar staff or bouncers on the door, were else in dam have u seen permenant door staff???

i hope it never reopens!
