No nutrients at all?

ye great stuff jus a couple of questions! How often do u water/feed your plants anyway? Also if its a 9 week flowerin stage n u do it for 10, wont the bud be over ripe? Or is it different for organic grows? And after those 10 weeks does it get harvested? Coz some1 told me 2 not water/feed them for the last week or two so all the crap is out of them n they r nice n dry, is that bullshit? Nice 1 mate its appreciated!

When growing Organic, I have always found they need the extra week... So if it's stated "9 week flower" - give them 10. Then you "Harvest"... and NO, you do not stop feeding them. Sorry to say you heard BS mate.

The next step is "Harvesting" followed by "Drying" and then finally "Curing" ! After which, you will have a very rewarding Schmoke! If you have more questions, ask away...

sorry TD but you DO stop feeding the plants upto 2 weeks before cutting, WATER ONLY!!! This is done with any medium, unless u like to smoke a variety of chemicals when u blaze! u need to flush out all the salts that have built up over the weeks, be it in soil or hydro!

and if u dont do this, u smoke aint worth smokin! imo!

ive grown enough weed to know u need to do this! my "customers" aint wrong!

Greetings earthlings! I am planning a grow using an indoor grow tent, hps light, plants in soil, and i was wondering is it possible to use no nutrients at all and still get quality bud? Thanks for your time!

Well that depends.

If by no nutrients (including organic), then no, because all living plants require nutrients such as nitrogen, phosporus, and so on.

If you mean with no addtional non-organic nutrition, then, in my experience, you bet!

What I do is
1) Drill holes in bottom of the containters, for drainange
(I used fairly large containers)

2) Then take your soil (a Batmix or something that includes guano (i.e bat poop, worm castings, and so on. I find these to usually be a pretty good growning medium) and put it in the containers.

3) Tamp it down with your feet to really compress it. Then add more batmix and compress again, repeat until it is very dense.

4) Then add a little top soil (or rooting soil) to put your clones or seedlings into. That way, the delicate roots of the plants can ease into the nutrient rich batmix, after an aclimatising period.

I have had entire grows using this method, without using any other nutrients. And the weed was Fantastic!

In my experience, one problem new growers have is that they often overdo it. That is, they over-fertilize (resulting in tips burning and/or nutrient lockout, etc.) or they over water (resulting in root rot, etc.) and so on.

If your plants are vigorous, have healthy green leaves, and are developing nicely, then stay on the track that got them that way.
