About feminized seeds? Something with a dominate Indica side, but a little Sativa for some highth. At least you know that everything you plant will turn out to be females. I've had real good success with all the feminized seeds that I've bought. Just got some Trainwreck for $31 and some Cheese for $35, five seeds per pack, so bargins to be had. Growing N.L.'s and Sensi Star females now. Here's a good seed company that has a nice variety with decent prices..... http://www.seedbay.com/index.php?a=1017
They even sell Lowryder seeds. Good luck on your adventure toker70.

The advantage of Lowrider is that you can grow them all year round. Also, you can sex them after 21 days, so no messing about overfeeding the boys - assuming you don't go for feminised.

Given that it's June right now, if you plant anything with the intention of putting it outdoors, it won't get that big by the time the light cycle changes - until the lowriders came along, I used to plant all my dope first week of June to deliberately keep it small and manageable.

As advised earlier, plant indoors in small pots, grow until third set of leaves sprouts then put outdoors. This should be approx 3 weeks. It's about this time that the Lowriders show their sex, so you don't need to plant the boys. If you find an outdoor variety that's feminised and plant now (I have some Durban Poison feminsed on the go, which claims it'll be flowered by end Aug) then you'll end up with moderately sized maincrop. I also have some outdoor Columbian on the go, which says it's ready end Nov - I expect this to get rather big!

Have fun - how can you not growing MJ?

More lowrider here:

http://www.dope-seeds.com/lowryder2.htm

The main index has about 15 types of lowrider - look for anything with low or short in the title. I ordered 10 lowrider 2 & 10 blue riders and got 5 x short stuff seeds thrown in for free, which was a nice brucey bonus.
