The Wall - Review Inside ( spoilers )

Its all good, not everyone is going to " Get It ".... thankfully.

I was offering my opinion, don't get snobby. I get it, I have been to loads of Dead shows and all that.

I simply do not see how music moves forward if you are listening to the same band, from shows 30 years ago!

There is great music being made today...and they are taking it to another level that takes effort to find it. When Pink Floyd was relevant, they were innovative and new and they pissed off the older fans of music. How much today is of PF is the light show, videos, etc and how much is actually innovative and forward-looking music?

Your making the show sound "irrelevant" to the times.
In fact it was the ONLY relevant concert i have ever been to is my point.
The entire show was fused with politics, news clips , video from the wiki leaks clips and bios of soldiers killed ,some as recent as in the last week.
So, again, all im saying is you painting a picture of irrelevance could not be more wrong.

Love Pink Floyd though....and Marco, I can see where you are coming from, but I'll bet a shit-load of Today's Musicians would site a lot of older bands/Artists as inspiring to them. You see, music is Art, and as everyone knows, good art will always be good art....regardless of how old it is.....Should I throw out my Django Reinhart Tunes, because they are over 80+ years old...or maybe the live recording of BBKing doing Caledonia should be discarded, since it was recorded in the 50's....or maybe I should Trade in my copy of the newest Black Keys album, since they will no doubt release another..........Art man, its art

Of course not, and turn-tables all great. But if all we looked at are old paintings, that would be very sad as art is being made every day, all around us.

What about if you listen to Floyd and go see the Wall , BUT also listen to all that new fangled exciting shit as well .
