for years mate, plus the longer you cure it the better it becomes. store it in a cool dry dark place and can be there indefinately ....................................peace........................

I had some weed and it was not so good after four weeks. is it ok to keep the pot for long times? Maybe to freeze the pot is good? I buy much and smoke little so many times my pot is dry with no power.

dont freeze it. i dont know if you can get gladware or tupperware where u live but it works like a charm ive been using it for years. to dry the buds keep them in the container in a cool dry dark place with the lid slightly open, checking on it to make sure u dont overdry and it just crumbles when u touch it. when that is done store it in the container in the same place, lid shut tight, that should keep the buds for a very long time and maybe even make it better, like a fine wine.

EDIT: just read it over, dry buds are not the reason the weed have no power, how do u store it?

well I have a jar. In the beggining, the pot is very good, but then after 4 weeks it is a grey colour and soft. Then it just make me sleep. I only smoke one time a week. I race road bicycles and too much gives me troubles. So I want to make a very small grow place and keep it good for some time.

it sounds like something is wrong with ur jar or the place you are storing the buds. try to get a plastic gladware or tupperware container. it doesnt sound good if the buds become gray and soft

Home canning jars. In the states, the most common brands are Mason or Ball jars. You need a jar with a sealed top -- like a Grolsch. Only bigger.

Cannabis should be stored in glass. Glass doesn't suck up your beloved trichromes. Ever seen all that gunk on the inside of your baggie at the end of a sack? Those are wasted cannabinoids, sucked in by plastic.
